The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and Technomate. By using our website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. In the case of any violation of these terms and conditions, Technomate reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law and in equity for such violations. These terms and conditions apply to all visits to the Technomate website, both now and in the future. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using this website.

This website may contain other proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed. Information on this website may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.

Information may be changed or updated without notice. Technomate may also make improvements and/or changes in the products and/or the programs described in this information at any time without notice.

Technomate assumes no responsibility regarding the accuracy of the information that is provided by Technomate and use of such information is at the recipient's own risk. Technomate provides no assurances that any reported problems may be resolved with the use of any information that Technomate provides. Technomate’s obligations with respect to its products and services are governed solely by the agreements under which they are provided. If you obtain a product or service from Technomate off this web site that is provided without an agreement, that product or service is provided “As-Is” with no warranties whatsoever, express or implied and your use of that product or service is at your own risk.

Technomate and its suppliers disclaim all warranties, expressed or implied including, without limitation, those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement or arising from a course of dealing, usage, or trade practice.

Technomate and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, or incidental damages including, without limitation, lost profits or revenues, costs of replacement goods, loss or damage to data arising out of the use or inability to use this site or any Technomate product, damages resulting from use of or reliance on the information present, even if Technomate or its suppliers have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Technomate does not want to receive confidential or proprietary information from you through our website. Please note that any information or material sent to Technomate will be deemed not to be confidential. By sending Technomate any information or material, you grant Technomate an unrestricted, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute those materials or information, and you also agree that Technomate is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send us for any purpose.   • any loss or damage which was not a reasonably foreseeable result of either Technomate’s breach of these Terms or Technomate’s breach of its legal duty of care. Loss or damage is “reasonably foreseeable” if prior to you accessing this site, either (i) such loss or damage was contemplated by the Technomate and you, or (ii) you notified Technomate that the loss or damage may occur if Technomate breached these Terms or its legal duty of care;
  • any loss or damage which occurs due to unauthorised access by a third party to your account as a result of a breach by you of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit Technomate’s liability for (i) fraud; (ii) death or personal injury caused by Technomate’s negligence; or (iii) liability which may not be excluded or limited under any applicable law.

Trademarks & Copyright Policy

The trademarks, logos and service marks (“Marks”) displayed on this website are the property of Technomate or other third parties. Users are not permitted to use these Marks without the prior written consent of Technomate or such third party which may own the Mark.

You may not post, modify, distribute, or reproduce in any way copyrighted or other proprietary materials without obtaining the prior written consent of the copyright owner of such materials. We may terminate an account, deny access to a site or service, or terminate any user who is alleged to have infringed the copyright or proprietary rights of another.

Access to any other Internet site linked to this website is at the user’s own risk and Technomate is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any information, data, opinions, advice or statements made on these sites. Access to Password Protected/Secure Areas

Access to and use of password protected and/or secure areas of the website is restricted to authorised users only. Unauthorised individuals attempting to access these areas of the website may be subject to prosecution.

Communications

When you visit our website or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

After placing an order

Once your order has been submitted and payment made, you will receive an order confirmation.

Unintentionally, we may make mistakes by inaccurately publishing information on this website (such as price, description, availability of a product you have ordered). In this instance, we may have to cancel your order at any time up to the point we send you the product(s), even if you have received your Order Confirmation email, and you will receive a full refund of any charges already paid.

Prices

All prices are in GBP UK Pounds and include the UK applicable VAT. They exclude shipping and handling costs and duties unless otherwise stated. The total price stated on the order form you submit shall be the total amount payable by you for the products including all taxes, duties, handling and shipping charges.

Delivery costs, where applicable, are payable by you as indicated on your invoice.

Payment

You must pay in the currency as indicated on your invoice.

If you are paying by credit card, then you must supply your credit card details when you place your Order. Your credit card will be charged when we issue your invoice or on the moment of shipment of your Products. Technomate will not commence the manufacture of your Products neither will Technomate supply the Products to you nor perform the services until your credit card issuer has authorised the use of your card for payment of the Products and/or services ordered. If Technomate does not receive such authorisation Technomate shall inform you accordingly. Technomate reserves the right to verify the identity of the credit card holder by requesting appropriate documentation. 

Exchanges and Returns Policies

If you would like to return or exchange an item, we're happy to refund/exchange your purchase as long as it's unopened and in its original packaging. Please do take care of it whilst it is in your possession. Please inform us first within the time frames mentioned below before sending the goods back.

Following the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are entitled to an exchange or refund within 14 working days of receipt (working days means all days other than Saturday, Sunday and public holidays). This doesn't apply to showroom collections or commercial use. Please return the good(s) immediately in an ‘as new’ unopened and unassembled condition and in the original, undamaged packaging, along with any accessories, manuals, etc and free gifts received with it along with your proof of purchase. The product must not have been used, have any blemishes, be installed or had any data entered. 

Our Returns Policy specifically excludes the following:

  • Products that come in blister packs or other types of see-through packaging, which have been opened, as these will be deemed used
  • Testing Meters, Satellite Meters
  • Custom made items or any items that we have had to modify to your requirements
  • Products that have a warranty seal or security seal which has been broken
  • A product that has a missing serial number
  • The product is not in its original packaging and has packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product

If you return a used or damaged item or an item with missing parts, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Goods are to be returned at your expense. It is your responsibility that the Goods are received by us and we recommend using a Courier that is insured, has a tracking number and is signed for. Furthermore, it is your responsibility that Goods are not damaged whilst in transit using transport arranged by you.

Once your return is received by us, please allow 5-7 days for the refund to reach your account.

Please note, delivery charges will not be refunded if you return only part of the order (e.g. you have ordered two items but only return one). If items are part of a set (e.g. satellite receiver, motor and dish bundle) items not returned from the bundle will be charged at normal individual prices. Technomate therefore reserves the right to raise an invoice in respect of any free or discounted bundles product not so returned.

We reserve the right to have the goods inspected by a technician prior to replacement or refund.

Refunds are only carried out to the card from which payment was taken.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order up to 14 working days after the order has been placed.

How to Exchange or Return

You can either bring the item to our showroom or contact our Customer Services Team to inform us of an exchange or refund. Please go to the Contact Us page for contact information.

Faulty goods

All products carry a 12 month return to base warranty. We understand that it’s an inconvenience if your product becomes faulty. We pride ourselves on our quick turn around time so you’ll have it returned to you as soon as possible. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.

Please note that Refurb items are sold with 90 calendar days warranty only, and therefore any claims under the warranty after 90 days of receipt will not be accepted.

Please note that Goods must be returned at your cost. It is your responsibility that the Goods are received by us and we recommend using a Courier that is insured, has a tracking number and is signed for. Furthermore, it is your responsibility that Goods are not damaged whilst in transit using transport arranged by you.

Where no fault is found, return delivery will be charged. We advise you to telephone us before sending a product back to go through steps to determine the fault.

We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered, please Contact Us immediately.

Damaged Items

When your goods are delivered, please check that the order is complete and not damaged. In the event that your order is visibly damaged, please do not accept the order and enter on the delivery note “Damaged” along with a brief description of how or where the item is damaged.

If the damage is found after opening the Goods, please Contact Us.

Please Contact Us on the day the item is received with details of the damage. This will help us considerably in raising the matter with our appointed courier. Once the damaged goods have been received back into our warehouse, checked and verified to be damaged, we will send out a new replacement.

Please note that for courier companies to accept liability for damage caused in transit we must inform them of any damage within 24 hours of delivery. Therefore, please inform us as soon as possible following delivery of the Goods. Any claims made after this time but within 3 days will be subject to our discretion and thereafter any such claims may be considered unreasonable.

Events beyond the Parties Reasonable Control

If either of us cannot do what we have promised because of something beyond our reasonable control such as lightning, flood, exceptionally severe weather, fire, explosion, war, civil disorder, industrial disputes, acts or omissions of persons for whom we are not responsible, or acts of local or central government or other competent authorities, such party will not be liable for this.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Technomate, its affiliates, partners, licensors or suppliers be liable for any indirect, consequential, punitive, special or incidental or other damages resulting from, arising out of or in connection with the access, use of, or inability to access or use this web site, the content or the user content, even if Technomate has been advised of the possibility of such damages except to the extent such damages arise as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation on the part of Technomate.

Save as set out in the paragraph below, there are no warranties, conditions or other terms that are binding on Technomate regarding the supply of Products or the provision of Services except as expressly stated in the contract.

Any warranty, condition or other term arising out of or in connection with the supply of Products and/or the provision of Services which might otherwise be implied into or incorporated in the contract by statute, common law, laws applicable in the country where you purchased the Products or Services or otherwise (including without limitation any implied term as to quality, fitness for purpose, reasonable care and skill) is hereby expressly excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. In particular, Technomate will not be responsible for ensuring that the Products are suitable for your purposes.

Nothing in the contract shall limit or exclude our liability (i) for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or (ii) for fraud or (iii) any breach of the obligations implied by applicable compulsory national laws as to title or (iv) any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Technomate will not be liable under the contract for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise. Technomate maximum aggregate liability under the contract whether in tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to Technomate in respect of the product(s) and/or services in question.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
