- There is no power when I switch on my receiver.
Check that the power lead is plugged in at the mains and switched on and check that it is connected to the back of the receiver. Ensure that the power switch is on at the back of the receiver. Check the fuse if applicable.
- I can receive a good picture but no sound.
Check the audio mute controls on both receiver and TV. Check the volume controls on both receiver and TV. If your Technomate receiver is connected to your TV via RF lead then ensure that you have selected the correct PAL/NTSC Setting for your region.
- Receivers with HER117 requiring Updates
Software version HER117 is not backward or forward compatible.
- What is the latest software for my receiver?
Please visit the downloads page; you will find the latest software, and loader to update your receiver.
- I am unable to get my remote control to function
Try replacing the batteries; and pointing the remote directly at the receiver.Check you might have downloaded wrong software.
- What is Incline / Decline in TM-5500CIP and TM-5500DAPCI?
Incline / Decline adjusts the dish's position and only works if you have two motors. One is used by Diseqc Actuator and the other by a 36Volt Horizon-to-Horizon motor. Therefore, Diseqc will control Incline/ Decline and 36Volt will control East and West.
- What are VIN / CAS files?
VIN files allows you to enhance the performance of your receiver. It makes the viewing of the satellite channel easier.
- Why does a WARNING message appear when I update my software?
This message will appear if the software does not correspond with the receiver.
